Welcome to the last post of Nissan Skyline R32 built off. This post took me near 3 years to post up to here if im not mistaken. The R32 was brought to my first TT (Teh Tarik) of BBSTC at Johor Region. That TT was rather a small group of mokit maker of Malaysia southern region, Johor Bahru. The TT was held at Fita Hobby Shop JB. Today, Fita's were no longer operational due to some problem. Its, quite rough to own a Hobby shop in JB moreover, Malaysia. Hobby scene in Malaysia is still not as vast and broad like Japan, America or United Kingdom.

There are turbo's included and its so cute. 

The detail of this kit is so mesmerizing and for R32 enthusiast I think one should get this pronto.

Previously, we had done the engine bay and the interior. This time we are doing the clear part of the kit and start to spray the bodyshell.

This is part 6 of my Skyline R32 built. This part is focusing on the detailing the interior and making detail of the interior. The interior play a important role as the main attraction and a place where you can put some characteristic of the car is in this areas. The exposure of this area is limited when you had complete the kit. Its really hard for spectator to see inside the car, and that made thing more exciting. Spectator will be amazed when they found and see something that they can related to the kit and show some identity of the kit from others. This will give them the sense of connection and will put the image of the kit in their heart. 

Advanced modeler will put drinking can such as Coca cola or Pepsi and intentionally put inside the cockpit to indicate that the drive of the kit like to drink Coca cola. Some put small printed magazine or newspaper of interesting topics. Owh, not to forget some also put AV girl magazine and a tissue box with used tissue all over the places. This is your area to put some identity or a story to tell to the spectator, so let be crazy at this areas!

Nubis : Nissan Skyline kits

Here you can see there are so many model and type for Nissan Skyline. What i captured here is the model kit only. I am sure the real 1:1 scale is still exist and its out there somewhere. Owh, try watch wasabicars at youtube there are so many old and retro car this guys found and had done some pretty good review about all those old cars. Of course all are JDM. 

Ok below is the model from Tamiya for Nissan Skyline hardtop 2000 turbo. As you can see there are 2 model the Gt-ES and RS. I will not elaborate why the model different as i am now typing with my phone but you can get the information on google.

These 2 kits for me is for the go because for a Skyline enthusiast you should try get this kits. Owh, please not mistaken as this is Skyline model not the Skyline GTR model. Its 2 different thing by the way. In Lemann term, Skyline GTR is the ultimate version of Skyline model. Its the top of the notch breed. However, some of the GTR did get their superbreed from the Skyline model.

I am planning to buy those kit and did some check up at the hlj.com, hobbysearch.com and scalemates.com and those kits had not been reproduce yet.

The good thing is this is Tamiya kit and Tamiya tend to reproduce their kits in occasion so let wait patiently for the reproduce kits.

Nubis: Skyline R32 Part 2

Parts that need attentions.

Hi,

After I done prime all the parts needed. I then start to spray all the important part with DPI Anchor Silver color for basecoat. Silver is said to be capable of giving shiny and reflecting effect to the color above it.

I start prime all the part of the kit with DPI Anchor primer surfacer grey color. Primer of this kit were done with not much layer. I do recall that i only put one layer of primer only. 

After all the designated part were let to dry. The primed part were then sprayed with silver color to maximize shining effect. Not all part were sprayed with silver. Only the part that i need to shine were sprayed. 

After silver painting were dry. I try to dry fit all the painted parts. Indeed, i had to cut a thin layer of the painting to ease fitting. 

So far, all process were smooth and easy.

Nubis: Cheap SD Gundam from china

In my way of completing the Skyline R32 i often wonder all over the places in searching for the right material that i can turn into cheap modelling PE.

Wire mesh grill can be made using plastic net tea filter that sell at MYR 0.90. Sometimes chupa chup stick were also seen useful and can be used with so many way up to thousand ways but in the end the stick will remain idle inside the toolbox. Yes, it not useful at that times but when you had so many idea that the times when all rubbish turn into gold. Stationary shop, bookstore and small shop call kedai runcit is where i spend my hunt times for the correct budget and cheap items that can be used on my mokit.

When i went to kedai runcit near my in law house i accidently went into one of the old chinese kedai runcit that had been operating since my in law housing block were made. Its kind of old store but its sell the thing you cannot find anywere this times. Its like these kind of store is like an archive for all the previous time items. I love to go in an old store and seeing all the old stuff that people nowadays dont want to buy it then eventually called vintage and rare items.

My hunt to that kedai runcir end up pretty well that night. I end up buying SD Gundam counterfeit made in China. Its not the same design as Gundam Bandai series and its have its own design and storyline. Well what do want from China counterfeit Gundam? The China Gundam were in the Story of the three kingdom series aka Musha mode.

There are 5 model to be collected from and each one of them can be cross fit and change part with each other. Armor, weapon and even body part can be crossover to produce one unique ultima musha gundam. It very innovative and interesting to see such cheap mokit are very enthusiats producing something like this.

This cheap counterfeit has done me MYR10 damages to my wallet.

It's been long time since my last post. The year flew by the holiday come and gone, people getting older and my WIP still..well in progress.

Introduction

Today you will get to know my first model kit and why I choose to buy it at the first places. I didn't have any knowledge in modelling but I do love modified things. I happen to played with Hotwheel sometime ago and did a few modification on it. Its a Mercedes SLR cabriolet and the color is yellow. I didn't remember how I got it but I just there.
